What is the Job?

Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Performing quality repairs & preventative maintenance services on heavy/medium trucks, trailers and school buses
  • Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in safe and responsible manner within the designated timeframe
  • Interpreting work orders and technical instruction
  • Follow service processes and repair procedures
  • Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty materials on completion of repairs

The heavy equipment technician is required to perform skilled repairs and maintenance on heavy & medium trucks by trouble shooting major and minors mechanic problems and repairing/adjusting all necessary mechanical components to correctly complete the repair. Heavy-duty technicians are a vital part of our service team by providing our customers quality repairs in a timely manner to help get them back on the road.

What you need:
 
  • Registered Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technicians - (Truck & Transport or Heavy Equipment).
  • Experience repairing medium/heavy duty truck is required. Experience in a dealership environment is an asset.
  • High degree of product and technical knowledge with a well-rounded understanding of on-highway transport vehicles.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task to ensure repairs are completed within the required time frame.
  • Strong problem solving and mechanical skills
  • Organized and self- motivated with good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Customer focused with a strong work ethic to produce quality work in a timely manner to meet the needs of our customers
  • A good understanding of warranty requirements and processes

Parts Customer Service Representative 

We are currently hiring a full time parts Customer Service Representative (CSR).
 
Shift schedule is Monday- Friday day shift.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will drive a Company provided vehicle to deliver our parts products to customers in an assigned territory.

What is the Job?
 
The Service Writer is the service customers first point of contact with the dealership. The Service Writer’s primary responsibility is scheduling customers repairs, ensuring proper & timely communication throughout the repair and finalizing the repair order at job completion. 
 
The Service Writer works closely with the Service Team Lead and Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction through communication and successful management of the repair.

The Service Team Lead is a leadership role responsible for supervising a team of service technicians to ensure quality work performed in a timely manner. The Service Team Lead’s primary responsibilities include technician work assignment, establishing repair estimates, customer communication and proper repair management to achieve customer satisfaction

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Supervise your own team of service technicians (6-8 employees) to perform quality work in a timely manner
  • Assign and prioritize work to the correct service technician
  • Communicate directly with customers to diagnosis the work required and translate this directly to the service technician assigned to perform the work
  • Provide the customer with accurate repair estimates and keep the customers informed of the repair progress and any additional work required
